Pistachios!

Pistachios are not only delicious, they’re also a great alternative to other less healthy snacks. Pistachios are a great choice of snack because they contain almost 90% unsaturated fat.  Pistachios are a good source of dietary fiber and are among the highest fiber nuts, providing 12 percent of the daily value per 30 gram serving (about one ounce). . Because the shells act as a natural barrier, taking longer to remove, people who eat in shell pistachios consume less and feel equally as satisfied as those who consume out of shell pistachios. Pistachios offer many different antioxidants, which can help to support the heart and the body. Pistachios are an excellent source of vitamin B6, copper and manganese; important vitamins and minerals for the body. The little nut also provides potassium and is a good source of phophorus and magnesium.
