We all have our weaknesses when it comes to food, but we also have a choice to satisfy those cravings with healthy alternatives. Some may think eating healthy means sacrificing taste, but this quick and easy recipe will have you munching away guilt free in no time.
All you need is a bushel of Kale from your local food market. Organic is not necessary but recommened. You can use any type of Kale besides "Swiss Chard" which has a bitter taste.
You will also need a table spoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a teaspoon of Sea Salt.
Prep time and Cook time: 20 minutes
1. Set the oven at bake to 350 degrees
2. Wash and Dry Kale
3. Cut or rip Kale into pieces, whatever size is your preference.
4. Spread Kale in an even single layer on baking sheet.
5. Drizzle olive oil and sea salt over Kale
6. Place baking sheet in oven for 15 minutes.
7. Let cool for 2 minutes and serve (or eat right off the baking sheet).
This is a low sodium and low cholesterol snack that you can eat any time any day with out the guilt!
